- Provide all K-12 teachers with supplemental $150 towards supplies, curriculum, or "extra" needs for the end of the 17-18, or beginning of 18-19 school year. This is money that would normally come out of their own pockets!
- Through a request to the Town of Tusayan for funding, PTA helped supply over $1000 of STEAM supplies for our brand new, hopefully-annual, STEAM n' TACOS night to help promote Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM) to our students and families of all ages!
- Institute the St. Mary's Food BackPack program to GC School. We advocated for, then organized this program to supplement nutritious food supplies for school families. We provide volunteers and logistical coordinators to maintain this weekly program.
- Create and post banners throughout the school to welcome back students, teachers, and staff to the 2017-18 school year
- "Bottoms Up" Purchases! Purchase clothing for students who may have "accidents" at school and need something clean to wear
- Purified Drinking Water! Purchase Brita Water Filter dispensers for Elementary classrooms that are waiting for plumbing repairs - summer of 2018
- STEAM Purchases! Purchase interactive materials, such as "MakeyMakeys" which support the ever-growing STEAM initiative at the school. Science, Technology, Engineeering, Art, Mathematics. FUN & LEARNING FOR ALL!
- Library supplies! Purchase materials for the library to complete the new Reading Nook
- Volunteers to help teachers throughout the school
- Teacher supplies! Purchase classroom materials for teachers
- Guest Speakers! Suicide Prevention, Education Advocacy, More to come...
- Assist other student and school organizations - such as Booster Club, GCY River Trip, HS Classes - with fundraising and other activities
